Sayana Cairo is an editorial interiors, lifestyle and travel photographer based in Ibiza, working internationally.

Her work is rooted in natural light, shape, texture with a focus on architectural beauty, atmosphere and a quiet sense of place.

Raised between India and Ibiza, shaped by years of travel, Sayana brings a culturally sensitive, observant perspective to the spaces she photographs. She is drawn to environments where design, landscape, lived experience intersect.

Working primarily with a Mamiya and Nikon FM2, she creates refined, timeless imagery that feels considered yet unforced. Her approach balances spatial awareness with subtle detail, allowing each location to unfold naturally. Ibiza is home, though her work continues to take her wherever compelling spaces, meaningful stories exist.

Beyond her practice, a devotion to simplicity informs her world. Gardening offers balance; old books, especially timeworn editions, remain a lifelong love, with dreams of a reading nook lined with collected treasures. A deep respect for animals shapes her daily life, grounded in care, attentiveness. Family and friendship form her foundation. She values connection deeply, both inherited and chosen. Perspective remains central to her outlook: meaning is often found in the smallest rituals - a sunrise, an absorbing conversation, admiring nature with a cup of Yorkshire tea (with milk and two sugars, always)
